Progress Study on Youth, Peace and Security: Young People’s Roles in an Unstable World

This event has ended.

26 April 2018 New York, USA

Co-sponsored by Elevate Children Funders Group (ECFG), Human Rights Funders Network (HRFN), and Peace and Security Funders Group (PSFG), in partnership with the UN Inter-Agency Working Group on Youth and Peacebuilding

The Progress Study on Youth, Peace and Security will be presented at the United Nations Security Council on 23 April 2018.   This is a monumental moment for the youth, peace, and security (YPS) agenda and for giving youth a greater voice in decision-making and enabling young people to play an important and positive role in promoting international peace and security.

ECFG, HRFN, and the PSFG will hold a funders roundtable to launch the Progress Study and to discuss the study’s key findings and recommendations.  This meeting is organized as a follow-up to the September 2017 meeting, which provided an overview of the study and the role of funders in supporting the YPS agenda.

The meeting will be closed door discussion for staff of invited funders only.
