The Children and Violence Evaluation Challenge Fund aims at reducing violence against children by funding evaluations of violence prevention and child protvection interventions in low and middle income countries. To date, 17 evaluation projects have been supported, covering 4 continents and 16 low and middle income countries.
Children's Rights and Violence Prevention Fund (CRVP-Fund)
Children’s Rights and Violence Prevention Fund (CRVP-Fund) formerly known as East Africa Children’s Fund (EACF) is a newly established regional intermediary organization focusing on the prevention of violence, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents by working with families, communities and schools. CRVP-Fund provides grants to CBOs and local NGOs working with local communities in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
The Global Alliance for Children mobilizes targeted investments in childhood as a core component of a nation’s social and economic progress. The Alliance helps support the development of country ownership, information systems, national and international cooperation, science and learning. To date, three countries — Cambodia, Rwanda and Uganda — have been selected as priority countries.
Ignite Philanthropy is a pooled donor fund created to give girls and boys the chance for a childhood free from violence. Ignite Philanthropy’s goal is to maximize philanthropy’s collective ability to take risks and act boldly in support of evidence-based solutions that prevent violence and help girls and boys to thrive.
Know Violence in Childhood is a global learning initiative based on the premise that a more comprehensive understanding of the causes and consequences of violence in childhood, and the means of prevention, can help shift global attitudes and enable children and adults to lead more secure and peaceful lives.
