Member-led working groups serve as a space in which funders can share information, learn, coordinate their funding strategies, leverage and share resources and new partnership opportunities. It is also a forum to explore and develop aligned, co- and pooled funding initiatives that may have a substantial impact on the field.
Cross-Funder Safeguarding Working Group
The Cross-Funder Safeguarding Working Group provide a safe space for funders to share experiences and foster learning. The Group was formed following discussions that took place in 2018-2019. The Working Group is co-chaired by Oak Foundation and Comic Relief and receives logistical and administrative support from Elevate Children Funders Group. Membership is open to member and non-member funders.
Care Working Group
Membership includes ECFG members who actively fund or are interested in funding children’s care issues internationally. The working group seeks both to bring attention to issues specific to children’s care, and to elevate these issues within the broader child protection and child development community. Children’s care was one of the first issues ECFG members gathered around in order to make a difference together.
East and Southern Africa Working Group
Membership includes ECFG members who actively fund or are interested in funding children and youth affected by adversity issues in East and Southern Africa. The working group supports the development and use of evidence to learn about what works to support children facing adversity in southern and east Africa.
Children and Youth Rights Working Group

This is a community for donors who actively fund or are interested in funding children’s and youth rights to share information, collaborate, and promote children and youth as a component of a broader human rights strategy.
